Our Story
JB Photo Booth Rentals started with a camera, a backdrop, and a love for seeing people have a great time.
Founder Juliette Baldwin noticed something at the events she attended. No matter how beautiful the venue or how good the food, the moments people seemed to remember most were the ones spent laughing, celebrating, and simply enjoying time with the people they cared about.
A photo booth was a fun and simple way to capture those moments and give guests something they could take home and remember.
What began as a small side project grew naturally through word of mouth. One wedding led to a birthday celebration. That birthday led to a corporate holiday party. Before long, JB Photo Booth Rentals was helping create memorable experiences at events throughout San Jose, Silicon Valley, and the greater South Bay.
Today, with years of experience in photo booth rentals, hospitality, and event planning, we’ve had the privilege of being part of hundreds of celebrations. We’ve worked with couples, families, businesses, schools, and community organizations at weddings, corporate events, school dances, festivals, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, birthdays, tea ceremonies, luaus, anniversaries, Quinceañeras, retirement parties, and many other special occasions.
And even as we’ve grown, we still approach every event with the same excitement and attention to detail that we had when we started.
The “JB” honors Julia Baldwin, for whom Juliette & Julia Baldwin School is named. Julia Baldwin devoted much of her life to supporting public education and generously gave her time to schools throughout the San Jose Unified and Oak Grove School Districts.
Carrying her initials is our way of honoring her commitment to education, community, and service. Those same values continue to be an important part of who we are and how we run JB Photo Booth Rentals today.

What to Expect on Your Event Day
On the day of your event, our team arrives about an hour before your booth start time. We unload quietly, set up the camera, lighting, printer and backdrop, test every print, and check that your custom template looks exactly right. By the time your first guests arrive, the booth is ready to go and your attendant is standing by with props in hand.
Throughout the event, your attendant welcomes guests, explains how the booth works, helps groups squeeze into the frame and keeps the line moving during the busiest moments. When the rental ends, we pack up just as neatly as we arrived and leave your venue exactly as we found it. A few days later, you receive an online gallery with every photo, GIF and Boomerang from the night, ready to download and share with family, friends or your team.
